Since 2015, Dharma Techno has been organising twice-yearly five-day meditation retreats. We practise silent meditation for four days and, once our inner perceptions have been refined, we enjoy a live techno session with a DJ who has also been meditating in silence.
The festival is organised by the Equanimity association. This year, it presents the 5th edition of the Dharma Techno Festival, from Wednesday 20 August to Sunday 24 August, in the Burgundy countryside, near Louhans (71).
This three-day festival offers silent mornings and afternoons, group meditations and teachings. While we meditate, a circus school will give lessons to children. And in the evenings, concerts to listen to or dance to. A splendid way to celebrate together!
In order to keep our minds clear and enjoy this moment to the fullest, our festival is drug- and alcohol-free. We eat vegan and prepare meals with organic and local products as much as possible. The site, located in the heart of Bresse, offers all the comforts we need for our stay: showers, dry toilets, a lake and a marquee that turns into a dance floor when the time comes. We pay particular attention to the catering and hospitality conditions.
